George J Sowden was born in Leeds, where he began his architecture studies in 1960 before moving to Milan. There he worked with the mastermind Ettore Sottsass with whom he later founded the Memphis group in 1981.
This collection by Sowden is a hidden gem of design. The vases were composed in 3 or 4 levels, and are superimposed based on color and form, staying true to the Memphis movement. This timeless collection will highlight the lively and organic design of any location.
