LOCUS
SOLUS
It was in 1964 that the Italian architect and set designer created «Locus Solus», the series of garden furniture immortalized by Jacques Deray in the cult film «La Piscine». Edited by Poltronova in 1965, it earned Gae Aulenti a prize at the Triennale of Design in Milan. Locus Solus shines through its sinuous forms and minimalist lines. It is adorned with a tubular steel structure in yellow lacquered yellow metal, a psyche fabric and two symmetrical flanges for the head and legs. A piece with structured volumes that remains an icon of the pop style.
